Won't be suprised to see those shifted east at least into BOX's weathernmost zones. We'll see soon enough.

Temp dropping a couple ticks. Miserable. 39.4/34 misty. Heavy, heavy rain in the offing.

EDIT: Box is not enthused by flooding: HOWEVER...NO MAJOR

FLOODING PROBLEMS ARE ANTICIPATED.

They're not expecting an overabundance of rain.

Ark, cancel.

I have a question: where among the "interior high terrain" is the urban area that might be flooded? lol

QPF AMOUNTS TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING LOOKS TO

RANGE FROM ONE TO TWO INCHES...LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE

POSSIBLE WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WOULD GENERALLY BRING

THE THREAT FOR MINOR URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING. HIGHEST

TOTALS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE INTERIOR HIGH TERRAIN GIVEN

UPSLOPE FLOW.-- End Changed Discussion --

Urban???

no i took it as differently i.e seperately . such as . urban flooding in poor drainage areas and also highest totals in the interior high terrain w/ upslope flow

bad wording imo FTL.

via almost every model the highest QPF is western mass ....and upslope flow occurs out there especially.

They're late to the party since all surrounding zones have one.. I;'m sure we'll see the next shift upgrade entire area to wind advisory

My zfp has winds of 15-20mph, no reference to gusts. My neighboring zones in Mass and VT have gusts of 55mph in the forecast.

FWIW--things can really only get better beyond this first day of met winter. Things are looking up.

The strongest of the winds will probably occur along the coastal areas and in the higher elevations...not sure if we'll see wind advisory criteria here...maybe in higher elevation places. Trying to see what the 6z bufkit shows but for some reason when I save the files they won't load up...been having this issue for a few months now.

It will be getting windy and I hope to see a few flakes at the end

I see flakes in the p/c, but there's no reference to them in the zfp. I find the zfp much more reliable. Surprised you hadn't picked up more rain than that--is that since midnight or from the start of the storm?
