Damage In Tolland
Very true, not only are we not going to get any substantial snow for a while (dec 13th maybe), temps look to be just a degree or two below normal, but in this year of dissapointment, its not really unexpected, hopefully the second half of December will deliver some snow If highs in the low-mid 30's on the coast and upper 20's-near 30 high terrain isn't cold to you for this time of year then I'm not sure what to say. Today was never supposed to be cold. Just cool to normal..Tomorrow cooler and the weekend even colder.
Professional Lurker
Mike--I see the windmill make the homepage of the Recorder (the closest I get to that rag. lol). Cool, thanks for mentioning it, I didn't realize it. The guy that went up there took some AMAZING pics and video. I'm sure that it'll be youtube'd soon. Looks like we'll be blowing this weekend. While I wish that we were going to blow tonite, I guess it's better to wait. Let the ground re-freeze and that way we won't have the undercutting of snow that we had last year... I'm curious to see how the stream out back is doing after the deluge. Suspect the 'fall' is flowing pretty strongly! 31.3/23.

CoastalWx
We're all going to be happy come Monday dude I suppose if you like flurries. It is possible eastern areas could see a little light snow from the storm backing in, but it's time to look ahead I think. I'll still keep my eye on this for now. More than flurries for everyone to be sure.. Too many people are down on this potential. The usual suspects are rearing their ugly heads. CoastalWx
The 06z NAM is pretty insane. it would eventually bring snow down to the MA Pike and outer Cape.
Logan11
Some of these runs are reminding me a lot of last January's retro low, but this time it's generally somewhat further north. I think last years low looped back down to the latitude of about Cape Cod. Down to 25 here this morning. Mud frozen FTW! Figured with the warmer temps and abundance of rain I'be starting from scratch. I'm encouraged by the NAM, and eager to see what 12z runs show. People in FL are going to be pissed, after what they went through last winter...anyone who picked next week for vacation time in FL isn't going to be too happy either.
