Damage at Lambert Field. Glass blown in to the terminals.

Sign of the times: evacuation efforts slowed by people taking photos on their phone. People believe you, folks. Tornado hit Lambert, another expected soon. All passengers huddled in terminal away from shattered glass and pouring ceilings.

Just pulled off the plane. Lambert is a disaster area. Glass and blood and debris EVERYWHERE.

AT 911 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS

STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR NEW ATHENS...OR NEAR FREEBURG...MOVING EAST AT

35 MPH. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION...DAMAGE HAS BEEN

REPORTED WITH THIS STORM.

LOCATED NEAR JAMESTOWN...OR 6 MILES EAST OF HIGHLAND...MOVING EAST

AT 50 MPH.
