Water temps at MIA are 80. Toasty.

I wouldn't mind one day of nice thunderstorms if we have sun the day before and after

Even in June when I went a few years ago..aftn convection season wasn't really in gear just yet. We had one day where we had nickels coming down at the park, which was pretty cool.

We might go to that animal kingdom for a day, but I think we're gonna spend 2 or 3 days at the beach.

Joe what??????/

bdr is +0.8 with 3 +inches of rain and not one 32 degree reading.

Those are just facts.

WHat is bdbag referring to, its not my problem he chooses to live in the arctic circle.

 I had ice yesterday morning and it has been pretty raw and chilly for a few days in a row,. Even Sunday did not really warm up much here

I would not mind a few days in the 60s to get more greening up here

We're going for 10 days in August (I just might die) so I hope we can see a few good boomers

Kevin?

Joe said "it has been a perfect spring"...seriously? I know SW CT is basically the mid-atlantic, but that seems to be a bit of a stretch. looking outside the window it is downright gloomy and final despair , choke yourself with the toaster cord before you hop in the tub backwards wx..44 and drizzle, I'd say it has been a pretty average spring by NE standards.

Yeah hasn't been bad. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous.

Well the reason it has been so so out East of you and Kev was summed up perfectly yesterday. Morning chill then the sun started to warm up. As soon as the warm up started a chilly breeze was introduced, still plenty warm but had a bite. Quickly however low clouds and dropping temperatures finished the day with spurts of showers. Driving from IJD to home after softball practice I could see how much the green up has progressed nicely before the hilly East. Tale of two springs I guess although despite Joes proclamations, I heard the Yankee announcers the other day banter back in forth about how chilly they perceived this spring to be. I am not saying it's been totally terrible but there has been no sustained warmth, full sun and that is reflected in the progress of vegetation around here.

It certainly hasn't been a warm spring. It's been an average spring.

Thursday and Friday look OK.

This thread was supposed to be for Sunday and Sunday only...otherwise this thread makes me look completely bad, while I usually make myself look completely bad I WAS NOT SAYING anything about convection or severe wx tomorrow here and b/c this thread talks about that I'll get more crap from everyone.
