BowMeHunter
Classic mke pan handle 8-12" storm track on the euro if it wasn't april. Everything outside of the Blizzard has gone wrong here for the last two winters so its no surprise we go out of winter mode this way. Good luck and enjoy to the sheboygan gang and moneyman. Light pingers falling atm. not sure if its mixed with rain or flakes.

Looks like this one is going to miss us just by a hair south. Any little tick north though could make a huge difference on what kind of amounts we will see. Still 45 degrees here and dry air is winning the battle.
turtlehurricane
Very light snow has begun! 34.3/24.5 currently. Should get on and off snow until things get more persistent later.
Iastfan112
RASN coming down here, more rain than snow though, temperature has dropped quickly past hour or so. 35.2 here now.

To have that many near misses is disappointing at this point.

Iastfan112
Heavy snow, maybe half an inch on grassy surfaces, some slush on paved.
Iastfan112
At first I wasn't sure but now I'm positive but the last crack was clear, we're having thundersnow. Which is really really awesome, can't ever remember having it before.

wisconsinwx
Getting pelted by sleet, which probably means we're getting shut out of snow chances, as well.
Stevo6899
Even though theres an impressive batch of precip, I doubt the 5-9, 6-10 forecasted will be reached. This system is cruisiing along and the positive tilted nature of the low looks to limit stationary deformation snows. Not that it matters this late into spring as the snow will melt in a few days but just my input.
Iastfan112
At 2 inches of snow currently, still moderate snow but think accumulation might be about over, temp is up to 34.3 so its melting pretty well.

turtlehurricane
All snow in Madison now after sleet and rain earlier this morning. Accumulating on everything since it's pretty heavy. This is just the beginning of heavier precip, things could get good if we don't heat up much, which isn't really likely when it's pouring snow. turtlehurricane
sleet sleet and more sleet... crazy badger i am about 10 mi south of madison Damn, I didn't realize the mix line was that close. It might actually be heading south though since we did changeover to all snow in the past hour. Lots of flakes bigger than quarters out there. Classic heavy wet snow. turtlehurricane
Mixing with some rain and sleet now. Some intense looking stuff moving towards us from IA, might see a thunder and wintery mix situation in there.

wisconsinwx
We're having all sorts of thunder snow and sleet in the past few hours. Crazy weather. Here in Milwaukee we're having thunderstorms or thundersleet with small hail. A few storms have passed right through in the past couple hours. Even with little to no snow, I'm impressed with the weather we've seen today.
