Unconfirmed report from the public of the school being "half gone". Heres a pic which shows busses flipped in the parking lot... Home destroyed in Gloucester as well from WAVY-TV... And yet another possible tornado in Windsor... Also, a 61 mph wind gust in Franklin... The Dinwiddie tornado has been rated... 437 PM TORNADO 4 WNW DINWIDDIE 37.10N 77.66W 04/16/2011 F1 DINWIDDIE VA LAW ENFORCEMENT RATED AS A HIGH-END EF1 TORNADO WITH APPROXIMATE PATH LENGTH OF 8 MILES...PATH WIDTH VARIABLE...ABOUT 300-400 YARDS AT ITS GREATEST EXTENT. TORNADO PATH STARTED ON DOYLE ROAD...WEST OF GLEBE ROAD...THEN TRACKED ENE TO THE FIVE FORKS AREA OF DINWIDDIE COUNTY. HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE EITHER DOWNED OR SNAPPED OFF...WITH NUMEROUS POWER LINES DOWN AND SEVERAL HOMES WITH MINOR TO MODERATE DAMAGE. Apr 16 2011 estimated time... 437 PM ef-scale rating... EF1 estimated wind speed... 86 to 110 mph path width... 300 to 400 yards path length... 8 miles injuries... unknown deaths... (none) ... Summary... Tornado path started on Doyle Road west of Glebe Road and then tracked east North East to the Five Forks area of Dinwiddie County. Hundreds of trees were either downed or snapped off. Numerous power lines down and several homes with minor to moderate damage. Most significant damage was on Patillo Road at wooded Lane, and on Wilkinson Road near Shannon drive.
