WOW THAT WAS TOTALLY INTENSE!!! :yikes: I heard there was a tornado warned coming towards me (so as the weather freak I am) I went outside!:lmao: It turned pitch black to the west and I saw some flashes of lightning (not much). Then all of a sudden, I saw a GREEN FLASH! I nearly almost passed out because I never saw that before and I knew that normally meant that a tornado was on the ground or something!

Then like 30 seconds after the green flash (I still was in shock), the heavens just let loose and the wind ramped up big time! I ran in my porch and it looked like absolute hurricane conditions outside...extremely heavy rain and strong wind! My power went out for about 10 minutes! Very crazy!!! The storm lasted for about 10 minutes.

I heard there was a confirmed sighting of a tornado on the ground in Emigsville York County! That is only like 5 minutes to my northeast! IDK if its true or not though...

My weather station recorded a gust of 38 mph during the storm and (get this)...10 inch per hour rainfall rates!!! INSANE! :lightning:

Well, that is my story...I think I will be out scouting the area tomorrow! :scooter:

2.01 for phl intl for the day, http://www.wundergro...ilyHistory.html with more to come....Do you know the record value for the day?

PHL's record was 2.43" from 1986. That's been blown away, already this hour they had 0.87" more. In fact they had a half inch in 10 minutes between 9PM and 910PM.

TTN's record is almost 4" from that same year... that's not going to fall.
