This line approaching is just some showers with probably just a roll or two of thunder.....

Maryland is going to get some severe weather - but in Virginia we are going to be just fine. A period of heavy rain, three lightning flashes and some thunder, then clearing with a wind shift to west yawn

awfully nasty storms with the 5H low so far to our NW

lots of energy rounding the base of the trough, here to the carolinas in a pretty perfect spot for convection to be abundant
