Felt nothing in the city! 11 floors up too, so if there was shaking here I'm guessing I would've felt it...

No, the only earthquake I ever felt was the 1985 earthquake.

green tube
we had one in the 80s in central nj at around 6am.... i was lying in bed awake, and even though it was undoubtedly a sub 3.0 tremor, i could literally hear it approaching and then going past my location. it was a low rumble... like distant thunder. NorthShoreWx
I felt it...it felt like someone was jumping up and down on the roof over my head. My wife was in the basement and felt it there...although she descibed it as more like she heard it rather than felt it.

ELCwx
No, the only earthquake I ever felt was the 1985 earthquake. I remember that one for the loud noise even more then any shaking.

jm1220
Felt nothing here either, and since Long Beach is pretty much a sand dune, I would think the effect would be worse.
