Birmingham proper looks to be under the gun within the next hour, any thoughts?

The lead couplet is wekeaning some..some storm mergers now..will have to see what if reforms into the the heavy populated area of southern Metro may get it

edit: storm re structured fast moving more NE now

I don't like this guy on ABC 33/40. He's been going out of his way to emphasize how Tuscaloosa proper hasn't been in the polygon, when it was pretty clear the couplet was tracking on the northern side of the previous warning polygon. Tuscaloosa could definitely be in the sights here. People in and around the polygon should be encouraged to take the warning seriously, especially knowing this thing is a monster.

That is what he said - whether it is or not - I don't know. TWC is on live now from there.

Bad situation - thousands are camping out for the race.

I think that finally lifted for being on the ground for like an or an hour and a half. At the end, before it lifted, NWS in Birminghan listed as being one half of one mile-wide. Does that me 1/2 mile-wide or 1 and 1/2 miles-wide.

Looks like it did make the jog north, with the tornado warning including more of Tuscaloosa county farther north. It's on a very bad trajectory should it drop another tornado.

What sucks is that there are so many cells converging in that area so it'll be hard to tell exactly what will happen with all this interaction.
