Lookout
Hoping I do better than the last system, hardly got sprinkles out of that one. Wish this cloud cover would break up some so we could get some heating going. Temps generally only around 70 north with dewpoints in the 50s, but temps in the mid to upper 70s with dewpoints in the 60s across central Ga. SPC stops the moderate risk at the al border but it would appear mainly because this activity should come in during the night with the expectation that duirnal cooling will weaken the storms. It's possible this won't happen if things get going well enough this afternoon. DaculaWeather
I'm REALLY surprised that either a severe thunderstorm watch (or tornado for that matter) hasn't been issued for us here in Atlanta. It looks like it will get here before 8 pm and the sun is still up at that point .

Just an FYI for everyone, let's not cut and paste watches or warnings messages...except maybe for the header/headline. We do a pretty good job of this anyway but one of the biggest complaints from posters is people constantly posting the entire warning messages during a severe outbreak. As you can imagine, if there is a lot of warnings this will drown the thread in them and actual discussion will be harder to find. Instead, just say a warnings is out for "x" county or there is a new tornado watch for X area. Let's either link to the watch/warning or just give the headline so we don't drown out the discussion with copy and paste watch/warning messages. Thanks in advance. UNCCmetgrad
I was just watching chasertv and I don't know who exactly chases for hardcoreweather.com but they just had an accident. Appears they tried to make a u-turn from the far right lane of a four lane highway and did not see the car coming from behind him in the left lane. The next thing I saw was the outline of another car and then a jolt and the camera falling between the seats. He turned the video feed off and seems to be ok. Hopefully that goes for the other driver as well, it looked like a fairly hard hit. Be careful out there people.
SluggerWx
I mean...obviously SPC can't forsee that all this would have happened before 2 PM CDT, but... if they forecasted a High Risk do you all think it nearly validates already?
