Gloucester, Virginia - sounds like extensive damage in or near that city according to the local media

Page Middle School in Gloucester suffered "Major Damage" according to the Fire Marshal. Unconfirmed report from the public of the school being "half gone". Heres a pic which shows busses flipped in the parking lot...

My dad is from Farmville. My grandmother still lives in the big old house at the corner of Walnut and Church St across the street from the Episcopal Church. (There's a duplicate house right across the street)

Town made out fairly well, considering the sup that passed over, and what I saw from the house here about 5 miles to the east. Going to be a dark night there, town has no power atm, per my wife's friend who is texting her, and the smell of pine when I surveyed it a couple hours ago was pungent!

Also saw several Ambulances with emergency traffic, and hearing reports of some injuries per WITN, unsure how many and how severe... WCTI in New Bern just lost power, generators on, took a lightening strike per Skip the chief met

It's sad to see all the tree damage in Raleigh. We're known for our oaks a lot of the areas with historically large oaks...downtown...moore's square...dorthea dix campus...cemetaries...schools had significan tree loss

From Greene county per County Manager, Greene County Middle School is a complete loss, no fatalities in the county, and 85 people currently homeless... Snow Hill appears to be a mess tonight, shelter has been setup at the high school for those who no longer have a habitable residence. :(

I was following that cell earlier when it was making a run for Farmville. Definitely the strongest of the bunch at that time.
