Guys link to big pictures. With the traffic I can hardly load the page.

Can someone tell me where the TVS went through Rolesville, NC? My grandparents live there and I believe their power went out. I lost them while they were heading into their closet.

Their house is the red + in this image, by the time I could look up their house the tornado passed.

We took a direct hit over here on the south side of NC State's campus, from my room you would watch the tornado coming, several several trees were snapped(15" diameter and larger)

Other than that and south sanders street i believe we're all ok here in raleigh(at least from what i could see from the truck)

It was damn close. But call them if you want to know for sure, the tornado is probably <2 blocks wide.

allan is safe. talking to him now. tornado missed his house just south.

glad he is safe....sounds like he had some scary moments. was this a tornado on the ground that came that close to his house? or was it the big one people have been talking about on here?

Ham radio spotter report, Yonkers Road (NE Raleigh along I-440 between Capital Blvd and New Bern Ave); shopping center heavily damaged, "50%" of the windows blown out, construction materials littering the street and the Beltline, two lanes of the Beltline partially flooded, one closed with trees down.

yep he's safe. was texting him during the storm. missed him just south. unreal storm. can't ever remember anything like this in NC.

Good to hear. Definitely a historic day for NC. Tried to keep warning people in Raleigh, etc. but most of my friends don't take things like this seriously unfortunately.
