Sanford toward Raleigh will need the watch the cell crossing Moore county. Very impressive look to it and is producing very strong winds with hail getting near 2.50". There's also another area of storms racing northward from SC crossing Chesterfield county to watch as well. It's been going on and off with the TVS sig.

EDIT: Tornado warning for the Sanford area.

the one over darlington more urgent

PERSON COUNTY...

AT 245 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO

INDICATE A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR CONCORD...OR NEAR

ROXBORO...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

HAZARDS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...

A TORNADO.

OTHER DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.

LOCATIONS IN THE PATH OF THE STORM INCLUDE...BETHEL HILL.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATION.

DOPPLER RADAR IS STRONGLY INDICATING A TORNADO...AND REPORTS OF

DAMAGE HAVE BEEN RECEIVED WITH THIS STORM NORTH OF ROXBORO

Shear vectors being perpendicular to the front are sure doing their thing, as the line has broken up into several discrete supercells. It usually takes some time for the cells to consolidate, but now that they have, the risk for significant tornadoes should ramp up quickly over the next couple hours.
