wisconsinwx
Dr No wins again. Every time I looked at it it kept everything mostly north and south. I always want to cancel the euro once winter is over but its the only model worth a dam to look at so I'll prob end up keeping it all boring weather season again. I'm just happy the radar is filling in near Madison. The 8:00 update of the SWO mentioned a damaging wind threat and a tornado or two still possible in the short term in Eastern Wisconsin. If we get a storm of any magnitude, I will be satisfied it wasn't a total bust.

SchaumburgStormer
Things are finally starting to pull together a bit as the cf nears. Looks like linear is the word, so maybe we can get some decent hail and a few good wind gusts as things rocket through. Then I will bump the storm up to "partial bust"

Don't have to worry about ice water here but I'm wondering what condition these will be in. Strengthening low/mid level winds will have to offset waning instability. Strengthening low/mid level winds will have to offset waning instability. either way, there will be some good gusts to start with at the shoreline. after that, you're right we have to see how much of a shape they will be in. but just taking a quick look at the overview numbers, i would think hail is still likely further inland for most of the night.
