Kinda lame Dude, this is from Tuscaloosa Alabama, ,32 deaths already, lots more u fortunately as a f-4/5 went through major cities.

Really tough. I'll take our severe cold and snowstorms. Can't imagine living in a tornado prone area. Best of luck to all that have been affected. Certainly puts things in perspective. I'll never understand when people hope for hurricanes or severe weather to satisfy a fetish.

Gezzus I would have nevr been able to hold the camera steady, just heard update of Tuscaloosa 25 deaths, reports of multiple amputations etc, very ugly and tornado still on the ground heading for Rome Ga, check out the Central/ Western thread.

Agreed. Disgusting. I want your 60/60 though. Horrible here.

The ocean is helping to keep me a bit cooler. Winds are south at 8mph, and the high was only 71F here today, nowhere near as hot as some parts of New England.

ORH is reporting -RA right now, so that should cool you down a bit, although lapse rates are pretty low with the ULL being so far west so there probably isn't a lot of room for dynamic cooling.

This warm spell was entirely useless...today was a decent day in Westchester, but the lack of any extraordinary heat and the constant fog/clouds/weak thunderstorms have just been an annoyance. If it's going to torch, give me 90/50 with some supercells. I can't wait for the cold front tomorrow, weekend looks gorgeous with very low dewpoints on a brisk W/NW flow. Should be a case where lower elevations warm up to near normal temperatures with clearing from downsloping winds, while higher elevations stay cold with thick instability cumulus and even the chance of a passing flurry, especially in higher parts of upstate NY.

Sprinkles here a little north of Wormtown (ORH)
