Damage In Tolland
I have mid 60s Monday and Tuesday and 70 at BDL for Wednesday. SNE probably has issues while E PA/NJ get warm. A boundary hanging on and a high pressure stalled over the Maritimes is a huge red flag. That's a beaut 3 day stretch of wx. All above normal..while BOS is 48 with a stiff east wind

All above normal..while BOS is 48 with a stiff east wind lol I undercut GFS MOS each day Sunday through Wednesday. We'll see what happens but there's a chance it could turn out to be a miserable stretch for all of us with low clouds, fog, showers, and easterly winds. If the GFS has it that's what all the other stations have. The funny thing is that I don't even look at what they have... I try not to even look at the NWS forecast until after I've gone on the air. I'm starting to lean toward your latter scenario for the beginning of next week. Maybe our warmest day will end up being the afternoon after the fropa. Ice Warrior commander
True toaster in tub weather at ORH with the temp at 39. I can vouch for that. I'm only 8 miles from the airport. Last year I was wondering what happened to this weather in the springtime.. which is more normal ORH hills and on eastward to the E. Mass. coast. 43F OVC

I made a post in the Dave Tolleris thread about next week and not liking the ridge orientation both at the surface and aloft. Lots of se-s flow...maybe even erly flow for a while. The true torches are when we have the ridge of high pressure nose westward across the deep south. It will warm eventually, but we might have to be patient. CoastalWx
The WF did move onto the Cape as PVC had a sw wind. However, the meso low spun up and forced winds back to the northwest.

OSUmetstud
it doesn't look like we really get a true warm front...just some mixing and clearing along the occluded front will help us warm into the 50s. 47 at the moment.

Arnold214
Temps are still in the upper 20s in places like Rangely, ME with freezing rain. How's that for Apr 20? Not sure I've ever seen it this late in the year...especially during daylight hours.

ski MRG
where? nice score in 42f weather this early in the season. Bas Ridge in Hinsdale, MA. I was the only one out there.lol It's a short par 70 course. Still snow in some of the traps and the greens are a little bumpy. Going to play Grennock in Lee tomorrow. It's in much better shape and lower elevation so the course is more Spring like than the late Winter disaster the higher courses. I was happy to play well but frustrated by dropping a few shots early on because the greens were wet and slow and I was putting as if they were fast. The courses I play at most often typically keep their greens fast so.... Still hit some fairways and greens and scrambled well when I went off line. Played quite erratically the first outings of the year but seemed to have settled down a little today. Really focusing on the putting.

I've only played a few times, keep blowing up late in the round. Been -1 a few holes into the back and blow up finishing 77 or 78. Pretty frustrating but it's early. Putting is the key.
