Well AWT, best storms to our north and northwest. Was hoping we could snake that line further se, but oh well.

Winter is our best season. That we do well. Hoping for a clap of thunder is a hollow surrogate for tracking N'oreasters. You know it, I know it, we all know it. Stupid snowless warm weather.

Well this stuff is from elevated instability, so we can't blame cool ocean influence on this....just that the best dynamics are up that way.

Thanks guys. 46 but feel like I'm still 26, just wiser. I'm trying to adjust to the fact that I have to let go of Winter but I don't want to. I hate watching the last of my snow slowly die. It's a painful reminder of what was. But, time marches on. At least I can read Kevin's posts about torches and laugh. It's going to be a cool Summer Kevin. Very little in the way of blistering heat this year. I probably won't ever see anything beyond a day or two of 86-88 degrees.

It certainly won't be as hot as last summer which was the hottest summer on record in your area and all of SNE for that matter.

But there will be some hot periods..moreso later , rather than earlier.

We could have periods of crap wx until that happens. It's possible we may have a miserable few day stretch until that torch possibly comes. Lets hope it does for chim chimney's sake.

starting to get some low rolling rumbles of thunder here with strong low level inversion in place.

Anyway looks like EC is still showing the chance for some front end snows for me here saturday morning.

I was just looking at nrn ME and noticed that, but it actually looks close for your area too..lol. Probably a good chance of that to the north...into the mtns. 850 temps are pretty cold.

Quit bitching and dust off your clubs and hit the range. Don't fight it. Happy b-day.

Yeah about an hour ago I had a five minute torrential downpour and a couple rumbles of thunder at 39F. It didn't usher in much milder air though yet. Still fogged in and 41 at 10:15 AM.

A nice line of storms has popped in NY and is moving into W. Mass and Vt. We have had thunder off and on up here in the NEK for the past 3 hours. Small hail reported at the house by my wife.
