Ginx snewx
Agree, amazing weather day. Certainly going to be an active night in NE with wind, deluge and coastal flooding. Full moon storms seem to be powerful sons of bitches. There appears to be gravity waves in front of that squall line

Mr. Windcredible!
Things finally quieted down here. The combination of rain, wind, and thunder makes for light sleeping beneath a skylight. Had one rumble of thunder that jolted me awake a little while ago...seemed to shake the whole neighborhood. Eerily quiet now by comparison. Baroclinic Zone
Nice storm overnight. 1.2" with lots of wind. 3" in the past 7 days. Glad I did not put down any lawn products. Going to try and finish the rest of the spring cleanup today. Still overcast here but saw a few breaks a little while ago so the day should improve. Take pride in the place Nice weather? It's raining and in the 40's here. I've already got the burn pile going and have come inside for a pancake breakfast with the family. It was a harsh Winter and the yard clean-up this year is considerable. Also I took down an 90yo Eastern White Pine and a 150 yo Maple that were both dead or dieing. Lots of work. The lawn here is ancient and beautiful without any chemical additives though currently it is brown and still with patches of snow. Gross time of year. mattb65
Not sure if anyone is planning to spend some time enjoying the Boston Marathon tomorrow but conditions are primed for some ridiculously fast times. It's supposed to be in the 50s-low 60s with party cloudy skies and a 15-20 mph gusty tailwind. Should be spectacular for the runners and the crowds!
