forkyfork
Thats my whole point.Spring in NYC is not supposed to be warm and nice.Sure, you can have some nice days but there are a lot of crappy days as well. Its normal.Last year was a once in a generation type of spring.I dont even think about steady warm weather until Memorial Day and the past several years overall have seen some chilly JUNE periods. this spring isn't normal. just look at the temp departures

nzucker
You are truly blessed. Dobbs Ferry is God's country. LOL, I wouldn't say that but I do like the climate up here. We've been lucky to get almost 70" the past two winters in Dobbs Ferry, and we're less plagued by the sea breeze in spring than folks in LI..Westchester is really gorgeous now with all the magnolia and cherries starting to bloom, as well as forsythia and daffodils at their peak, just amazing spring scenery the past two days. We never had much cloud cover today at all, just a wonderfully crisp and refreshing mid-April day.

TheTrials
But the GFS has temps only in the 50's so there is some disagree in the models right now. Euro was terrible with this storm, severely underestimated the rain to the last minute. I don't think we get as warm as the euro shows.

jm1220
SE winds are a killer this time of year near the coast. Hopefully the NAM is overdoing this marine layer and the warmth heads past us.
CooL
850s are +17 Wednesday? yeah +17 both on the nam and euro, the nam probly had cloud cover and a bad wind direction for us at 12z so we only got to 50s..If we can get full sun we will flirt with 80 again. Thunderdude
Upton do you know has such a cold bias. They forecast 40's for LI for the week in my area. No models say that. I see 50's at least.
