Same here. Wind which was NW all day briefly switched to SW around 5 pm at which time the temp briefly spiked to 70 at 5:30. Shortly thereafter winds shifted to SE and now down to 56.

yup delayed sea-breeze, was 71 at 5pm according to my weather station with a sharp drop right after, 55 now. Should have my weather station online by next weknd.

Gilgo Beach shows the offshore flow giving way to the sea breeze then reversing before the sea breeze finally won out.

I saw something similar here today.I rose to 69 then fell back to 64 in a short time before bouncing back to 68.Finally

the sea breeze took over an I am down to 52.

We are having as normal a spring as we could.Much better than last year, which was in reality a extended summer. The bloom is normal this spring.

much closer to norm but much worse than last year if you ask me. We have had our share of cloudy days which I guss if you average its closer to normal, temps are near normal and precip above normal.

I thought last year's spring was much, MUCH better than this one. It was nice and warm from mid march on. We have had way too many cold crappy days this spring so far.

Thats my whole point.Spring in NYC is not supposed to be warm and nice.Sure, you can have some nice days but there are a lot of crappy days as well. Its normal.Last year was a once in a generation type of spring.I dont even think about steady warm weather until Memorial Day and the past several years overall have seen some chilly JUNE periods.
