This has been no torch thanks to those clouds that never went away. Today's high so far has been 58 F here. I have to say it has been the warmest April day but still no 60 degree day but only if those stupid low stratus clouds and marine air would overcame by just a little sun it would of at least got into the 60's. It did on the North Shore of island.

I should have clarified: Really humid for this time of year. DP is 62 Deg here. I'm not used to it being this humid! ;)

yes, it is surprisingly humid.. I stepped outside and it almost feels a bit like a sauna out there.. When we torched last year around this time, did we have low humdity? I can't even remember anymore

There's a huge difference in temps over a much shorter distance - it's only 50F in Coney Island, Brooklyn and 58F in Fort Wadsworth in far southeastern Staten Island. Meanwhile, it's 84F on the North Shore of Staten Island:

4pm obs: 86 in Newark and 48 in Montauck. 38 temp degree difference!
