bluewave
Got dark for a few here in Long Beach. the winds have actually diminished here with the front. Allot of erosion and some monster surf right now as a result of the huge fetch of southerly winds ahead of the squall line down south. The same here.Got some estimated wind gusts in the 35-40 mph range from the SSW with the heavier showers before the winds dropped off right with the front. Edge Weather
Down to 39.6 in Blairstown. I wonder if it will start snowing soon? I did not see any forecasts of anything like this. They said getting down to 47 by 2pm. I saw no mention of 30's by 12pm.

IsentropicLift
That was one hell of a squall line which is finaly clearing the Florida east coast. One of the longest lived, longest stretching squall lines in quite some time.
nzucker
I just saw a few very wet snow flakes mixed in with the rain on the windshield while driving...44 degrees... Yes, I thought I observed a few snowflakes falling in Southern Westchester, very light precipitation though. Down to 42.7/39, such a dreary and morose day, typical for early April in this area. Big difference between when I got to work at 8:30am and when I left at 3:30pm, airmass is much more refreshing now with a stiff NW breeze. Should be much cooler the next few days before Sunday's warm-up.
Cfa
I witnessed no action whatsoever (as usual lol). But I did feel a fairly significant temperature drop, felt very rainy day-March-like 20 minutes after my initial post. Went from mid 60's to low 50's. This squall line was the largest I've witnessed, stretching from Pennsylvania into the Gulf of Mexico last night.
