Jim Marusak
looks like a whole slew of FSD counties just got tacked onto the tor watch. i have to wonder if a few mpx counties in sMN will be added at some point in time as well. so it'll be an upgrade to the severe t-storm watch already out? it's a long night ahead... Here is what it looks like right now on his cam, can't tell if this is the tornado he had in view five minutes ago
Iastfan112
Can confirm tornado west of Fonda, looks like it's heading towards the Varina blacktop area, good thing I brought my comp, thought about taking that route over to storm.

Thundersnow12
Well....we saw the large Mapleton, IA tornado viewed from the southeast and didn't even know it was hitting a town at the time. Followed the storm for a bit after it got dark but our data sucked to high heaven and left the storm...wish now we didn't ofcourse. Thankfully we got atleast 1 good tornado. Thunder Road
Got hit with tornado last summer, not super extensive damage though. Hopefully it slides just north. The rotation is so broad that I can't tell if it's one huge wedge or becoming outflow-dominant.

Thunder Road
Storm NE of the big one between Algona and Wesley looks to be tightening up as well. Should be a TOR on it in a few minutes imo.
msp
so it'll be an upgrade to the severe t-storm watch already out? it's a long night ahead... interesting. the spc watch graphic and the actual watch counties don't match up. might be more server errors. Arnold214
The two supercells between Storm Lake and Pocahontas look to be merging to an extent...kinda reminds me of my last chase on 5/23/08 near I-70 in KS...total wedgefest near warm front...storms merging...splitting...basically doing whatever they want while still producing big tors. Looks like Storm Lake narrowly missed the bullet that just whizzed by.

thewxmann
Significant damage Varina. Debating whether to head east or wait for cell by storm lake. Wait for the string of supercells to your west that's coming your way... the lead cell is being absorbed by the Storm Lake cell.
blackjack123
I dont see why SPC did not keep the 10% hatched area for strong tornadoes in their forecast from earlier today. Even a 15% hatched looked justifiable. Several mile-wide wedge tornadoes.
