Ed Lizard
Mainly curious because they show a much more interesting day Monday on the 2100Z SREF run than the other model perturbations. http://www.emc.ncep.noaa.gov/mmb/RSM/

dtk
REgional forum- B_I not a fan. I think B_I gave the gist of it in the regional forum, but... The RSM is actually a perturbation model that is run "about" a GFS forecast state. In terms of dynamics and physics, it has loose connections to old versions of the GFS ,but because it is actually a perturbation model, it runs in a much different manner than other regional models. I believe that the RSM and ETA model members are going to be phased out with the next SREF upgrade (replaced with a combination of NMM-B, WRF-NMM, and WRF-ARW models). As an aside, there is a reason that it is run as members to an ensemble and not really used on its own.
