Cold Miser
Welcome to April. Delayed but not denied. The absolute worst month unless it snows, or is in the 70s. Most times it is cold grey humid drizzle At least some kids will get some Easter candy out of the deal. . . . It's absolutely hiddious out there - DARK and heavy, heavy rain right now. Tropopause_Fold
Yeah guidance really pushed that wave to the sw. The weekend as of now doesn't seem too bad, but it won't be 70 either. It actually looks worse the further sw you are. yeah euro looked like more down in SW CT...NYC etc might be closer to the boundary and stuck in the muck of clouds etc. trend seems to be suppression with the boundary over the last few days leaving us dry and seasonable. euro had 850s climbing to like 0C by sunday afternoon and some sun, so we'd probably be OK under that set-up at face value. of course it's only tuesday so whatever...maybe it ends up draped right over SNE and we're cloudy/cool. Logan11
I have been getting snow showers (not sticking) for about four hours here...... I didn't think this was in the forecast, but I just returned at 2 AM from DC and am out of the loop. 34F here now and not budging. Yesterday's high was 51 here. 81F when I left DC at 2 PM..... GFS MOS has 63F on Sunday and 68F on Monday for BDL.
Logan11
Probably would have 1-3" if this occurred during darkness, but this can't gain a foothold at this high sun angle time of the day. It may be different story at the true high elevations as in 2K ... Congrats on 1-

Looks ugly Fri/Sat..Sunday warmer...torch Monday, storms Monday night/Tuesday AM..then cooler..then colder day 10 wouldn't mind early next week verifying. ec ens looked pretty mild too. starting to get to that time of year now where "cold" almost has to be a ne flow marine layer unless it's a shot of well below cold digging straight over us. something like -4C at 850 with sun and w/nw flow ends up decent in mid april.
