Keep in mind that you are talking to the same person who speaks like every hurricane in the Atlantic will turn into the next 1938...he just likes to poo-poo winter events and be a uber weenie on tropical systems.

LOL so people didn't get a foot. My street got plowed and you probably have 7-8". How is that meh??

Basement comfortable this AM? Maybe you and Ray can trade April '97 stories in the dark basements.

It's exactly what anyone reasonable thought would fall given the setup. A general 2-6", I'll admit had it been your 'hood, that is a bit more memorable.

Those mid level temp fears ending up working out down there. If that first batch didn't poo out...probably would have had a nice 4" event. That was my fear for your area. I realized that when doing my first and last call, but I thought you might eek out 4".

Yeah..it could have been much better..I guess it must have sleeted for hours???

Oh well....for our last event..I'm happy..missed out on 100 inches and lost to Will ..lol

Yeah it was the sleet. I didn't want to break your heart and go lower yesterday..lol. Hence the references to the lower range, but it's all good..I thought you could make 4-5" if we got everything organized quick enough.

I still can't believe they got 3" down by the canal. Scott beat both you and I.

hard to tell what I got last night...probably somewhere between 1" and 2". It was 1.1" when I went to bed...but the pavement was more covered when I got up this morning.

It's funny that on April 1st...BL problems weren't really harsh. We got down to 33 under light snow. That damn low didn't close off quick enough to allow stronger omegas and the 850mb warmth to stay south.

Only about an 1" at 675' in Stafford Springs with S- ATTM.

Looks like accums were pretty elevation dependent around here. I see that 1000' in Tolland had around 2.5" and Union has around 3". My folks in Somers at 290' said they only had a dusting.

Time to collect sap...I'll see what else it's doing around the area.

Wow, came home last night from dinner around 9pm to 2" on the ground and it was snowing steadily at that time. Looks like it snowed till around 11:15 last night. 2-3" for the event. Not bad, not bad at all. Expectations were less than 1/2". No way to get an official final measurement due to all the rain after.
