ski MRG
We need a pic of Pete in the tub LOL, just -sn currently, radar looks promising. This is one bust I don't care about.
CoastalWx
The good echoes will probably line up in ern CT through ORH and on east. I still would like to see the echoes not look all jacked up which might be due to a little dry air, but those echoes will probably improve. ORH_wxman
radar look like the electrical bath line is currently about 10 miles S of pike. would breathe easier if i was near boston post road instead of pike. but echos N of pike look to be moving more WSW-ENE> I'm a little nervous the line could reach here. Hopefully it stays south of the pike, but it wouldn't a lot to tilt this a little more NW. Keeping good echoes overhead I think will be important in offsetting any WAA in the MLs. Arnold214
I want to see 60s and 70s on tuesday then a snowstorm wed as per 12z EC and "almost" GFS. Would remind me of Dec 2001.

Clinch Leatherwood
LOL! OMG OMG!!! 3" of crippling snow. Hang on, when daylight comes they'll start aerial food drops. We live in a place where people actually WANT to visit....not a place they end up after wandering off the appalachian trail. 3" of snow on a steep metal bridge traveled by thousands a day is different than an ox cart path traveled by three people a day. And we Excercize deductive reasoning in spending an hour watching the bruins in ot versus sitting in traffic.

Clinch Leatherwood
3" coating the Oregon Trail is devastating! "3 sick weenies...lose 3 days" Was a smart move by those not wanting to deal with the mess. Was cool as we saw people we haven't seen in ages that moved to the cape proper. You should do okay, but what a weird event.

Hope that evap/dynamical cooling as Low deepens and a more ageo NE componet helps loose that slight taint. 31F holding
CoastalWx
Are you feeling cautious... I'm feeling I might be done shortly..lol. Maybe I can continue with this mess for a while and then flip back in the morning. I'm a little concerned about how this will play out for you, but I think you're in for a few heavier bursts here shortly. Your longitude might help you out here, and the RUC tries to curl some nice moisture back into ne mass thanks to a developing comma head, but it's not a given. It's just every time I see that showery looking crap on radar, it makes me uneasy, but if the RUC is right then you'll get some heavier bursts of snow in an hour or two. Hopefully that stuff continues to blossom...it actually looks better now.

Clinch Leatherwood
Btw pete just busting. I know where you are coming from. As someone older, more seasoned then myself I think you look at things differently. Much like I do some of the younger guys. It's all good, and I appreciate the input and hope you know I'm joking with you.

BTW, they've invented this awesome device, it's called a plow, they can actually push snow right off the road. Snow is picking up in intensity and it looks like that will continue. CoastalWx
How much Scott? Yeah it's roasting here now....straight warm invasion with no hp to the north I had an inch, but it's compacted just a bit now. Still snowing and occasionally trying to cover the street with transparent slush. LOL, you might actually do better than me. I joked about it, but its's probably going to happen.
