HoarfrostHubb
30/28, snow, looks like a nice band takiing shape to my SW heading this way. Won't be at all surprised to see a nice band bank up against the eastern side of the crest for a while. Think you get 2.5" before midnight? weatherwiz
Wow, I think its just a tick too warm. What makes this even more difficult is this is going by what the model is saying...if the model is off by +/- 1-2C that's a HUGE difference.
TheSnowman
I was hoping the NWS would give in FAR before 9:16pm, but they didn't.

dryslot
NAM dropped the QPF nuke idea here, but it still drops north of 1.25'' of QPF. Probably good for around a foot. Should we be genuinely concerned about power issues? Nam still dumps 1.50" here its on
DomNH
1'' new on grass, starting to stick to the driveway/road. Trees and powerlines drooping good. Not liking that at all.

HoarfrostHubb
Is he still working on the forecast for warning criteria snow down there? Will, do you think I can approach 11" up here? Driveway is finally covered... roads next. March ends in a good way, April begins in a great way
Mr Torchey
I'm just completely torn right now lol...you can't get any more on the rain/snow line than this. For us it's just going to flip between rain/snow all night long...when we have heavier echoes over us we rip snow but when they lighten up we either mix or see rain...snow ratios will suck here so it's going to be really hard to generate much accumulation. Dynamics Paul, as you well know. Good luck!
ski MRG
Think you get 2.5" before midnight? tough to say, I'm eyeing that area of heavy returns to my SW, Probably an inch on top of the old snowpack now. I'll be turning in soon so I guess I'll take a measurement before bed. Glad I don't have neighbors to see me out there in my PJ's measuring snow.lol

March ends in a good way, April begins in a great way Yeah you have a shot at 11" if we can get that good train of radar echoes in here. I think we are probably going to do that. How much do yo uhave already? We have passed 2" down here, but we had a bit of a head start on you though you had some good echoes over you recently. weatherwiz
Dynamics Paul, as you well know. Good luck! Yeah dynamics should certainly help out as well. My weenie hope is when we rip snow were seeing like 0.50''-1'' per hour rates and those heavier echoes sit/train over over us for at least a few hours
Ryan
I Know. I have a gas law honors chem test tomorrow (should be fine) along with a latin test (eww) but I'm thinking we get a snow day. Nam has everything done by like 13-15z so maybe only a delay? tough call. ugh and I think spanish is hard! i think it's gonna be a tough call anywhere from the Merrimack Valley to Worcester. some place like Manchester or Portland is a good place to be for no school tomorrow IMO

About 1.5 on my steps, but they were warm from the scorching April sun... Deck rails on the back have closer to 2" I might take a ground measurement in a little while.
