DomNH
Are we now measuring in a vacuum? Time and frequency of measurements are going to be huge in this storm. I bet we see some reports that vary widely even within the same town due to whether or not a person was clearing a board and adding values... or did they just stick a ruler in the snow when it stopped? Also did they measure literally when the snow was stopping or was it hours later after the temp rebounded back to 34-35F as deeper forcing moved out? I could see a situation where a bunch of co-ops report a trace in far SE MA at 12z observation time tomorrow as the 2-3" that fell in the past 90 minutes disappears overnight. Guess it'll depend on how diligent the official measurements are. Airport measurements for climo should be really interesting, too. Haha, I wasn't being serious. It's a running joke because Will told me off after I measured in the grass in Dec.

Haha ahhh that makes a lot more sense... You've got a relaxed posting style so I was surprised at how picky that sounded, lol. I'm definitely going to miss tracking storms in another few weeks when the options really aren't even on the table. This is pretty sweet... congrats and enjoy it everyone. Typhoon Tip
In addition to Ray being a dweeb ... we have this interesting stationary dark green band on radar extending west to east on the N side or Rt poop.... It means business actually... My t/td have crashed to 32/32 dead balls on, with on-going S/S+

powderfreak
Okemo 10 bucks with 3 cans of food! And $84 at Stowe, the Aspen of the East! haha... I wish I had control over pricing, there would be a lot more deals to drive slow, mid-week business this time of year. Alas, those decisions are made at the senior management/directors level. I'm sure some senior accountant is positive that this is the way to make the most money, lol.

I've skied about 12 times this year and the most I've paid is $50. Some great mountains too including Waterville Valley, Cannon, Jimney Peak and Ragged. Not worth the price of admission. MRG at half that is unbeatable.
