BDL 3.8

PVD 3.0

ORH 9.5

BOS 5.8

I've looked at this enough over the past 36 hours to throw some SNE numbers down...

BDL: 3.0" (I grew up near ALB in the Hudson Valley, I know how this plays out in the larger interior valleys w/out heavy lift/omega)

PVD: 2.2" (this place never impresses me for snow)

ORH: 10.5" (crushed, 1-1.25" QPF at 9:1 ratios)

BOS: 3.2" (at Logan... will say 6.0" Jerry's backyard)

LOL he's been MIA since about Feb 2nd when winter supposedly ended.

I've posted the numbers....winter did mostly end in terms of accumulating snow in the major cities....I don't think Pvd hfd or bos even had an inch this month thru this morning. Cold without snow is useless to me in march.

....neighbors wife called wondering why their tv was out...direct tv and heavy snow ftl.

Looking at the ruc once this pulses thru in the next hour and then later up towards ray there's warmth behind it. I can see where the 21z wrf became the wtf in ct etc

Those are serious echoes over SE Mass, as far as I know NO models accurately depicted that, at least occurring this early... per Messenger, SE Mass with almost an inch 7pm!

Oddly enough the RUC had been showing this all day long. I laughed at Jerry when he went with it... looks like the joke is on me, haha. It doesn't look to the extend of the RUC runs, but it brought a sizable area of .1"+ per hour liquid up the MA coast from Messenger through Boston this evening. If its right we should see that first heavier burst of precip lift NNE, really only effecting eastern areas with decent rates while the rest of central/western SNE fills in with light precip.
