Man winter storm warnings from Allentown, PA all the way up into NNE... that's a beautiful warning map this morning, lots of pink.

BTV is going 8-10" here in the warning... I think that's probably a fair call. I'm leaning towards 5-8" below 1,000ft and 8-12" above 1,000ft up here.

As expected WSW hoisted here in the high terrain of the East Slope. Really hoping to get 3" before midnight then 10+" after midnight securing a run of 5 consecutive months with double digit snowfall.Epic winter continues unabated.

Tonight: Rain and snow likely before 8pm, then snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 28. East wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Friday: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 34. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Friday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind between 11 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow before noon, then a slight chance of rain and snow between noon and 2pm, then a slight chance of rain after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind between 13 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Does 6z goofus bring snow to Boston? Looks like a few inches if I read it right... but the 850 0C line disappears on my model a few frames in so hard to tell.

Looking at forecast soundings for BOS on the 6z GFS I would say BOS is mainly snow...although it could be VERY close...as long as the lift is strong enough BOS would likely be all snow...although it would be very wet and very heavy.

EDIT

As long as the precip rate is heavy enough.

That would be cool, but 3" before midnight might be tough...

Skiing tonight again...

AWT ... winter storm warnings up for all of Maine and NH except for the immediate coast where advisories are posted. My final call for mby is 10-14".

BOX has a little sliver of advisory for Eastern Hillsborough too. Who cares though. Final call IMBY - 8-14''.

Anyone else want to verify? You're the first person to suggest a thing. NECN is saying slop-1"

Actually it's 2.25" to be official. I don't think it will be tough. Note Box's timing.
