Model consensus looking very good for a warning level snowstorm for this area. My gut call is 8-12 inches in the Berkshire valley (elevation ~1K) with as much as 15 or 16 inches possible near 2K. 2K could be a wind whipped snow bomb with temps near 27-28, allowing for decent ratios and fast accumulation. Barring a dramatic last minute shift to the E or W, 2K is going to absolutely rock and roll. As is often the case with these storms, meso banding could add more to some select locations.

15" would be tough to pull of if the EURO is correct.....best shot would be @ 2K in the Berks imo.

13.5 could happen, which would give me 93.6...mid 90s (lower end)... plus there have been a few snowfalls of <0.5" which I did not record (I know, bad for statistics...can't undo it)

Will Essex County get much?

seems like 5 to 8" would be a good place to start for areas that are mostly/all snow and then work up/down from there.

Fair call... but I do like seeing folks tossing around numbers that seem to imply at least 12:1 or 14:1 ratios, haha.

A good starting point on April 1st is 6-8:1 ratios... anyone below 800-1,000ft would likely be closer to 6:1, with high terrain maybe 8:1.

Yeah... guilty here. Not really expecting much over 8-10" despite my el and locale. Sloppy heavy stuff incoming. Shear pin breaking back crushing

If I get 12"+ I would be ecstatic.

Uhhh that map is just... not good?... i dont agree at all anywhere... sorry DT with all respect

Haha, it made sense after seeing last night's 00z models...maybe not after 12z.

Plus its hard to take that map seriously when its titled, "interior New York and eastern NY snowstorm"... he obviously meant "interior New England and eastern NY snowstorm."

I think his final call map will look totally different..
