40/70 Benchmark
Even a 15 or 20 mile tick east, is exponentially better for us...esp me. Temps aloft get a little dicey on this run, but any pube east is all the better. I'm prepared for a crappy solution just in case. I'd be ready to bathe with the microwave if I lived on the water, to the se of Boston.
Baroclinic Zone
Just give me my 0.4" to top 70" for the season. Low expectations that may be too high.

dryslot
Hopefully we don't get a bunch of bridge jumpers when the NAM comes out, It will have to come west to get in line with the Euro seeing its the furthest east..

We probably end up seeing an 80\20 compromise in favor of the EURO, which is fine for most; not sure what the GFS is smoking.

Mr Torchey
Will and Scooter said from day one, they could see a hv runner more likely than an ots, I hope thats not the case, without sw inter whats keeping this south and east, its certainly not hp or blocking. All speculation, lets hope it settles on the BM

I don't think this goes up the Hudson, but worst case would be over se mass or BOS. I'd feel much better if I lived up by ORH and especially north since I'm close to the tailpipe zone. The euro op still gives me a 6hr dumping which is fine. I don't care if I go to rain if I rack up several inches. We absolutely cannot have another shift west. 40/70 Benchmark
Me: Dave, you still holding firm to your idea that e MA sees a HECS; I believe that to be in peril....but some guidance is too far west DT: I will wait for the 12z Guidance to see if IT shifts back east but IF i had to make an updated forecast based on last night's data ... things would be very diofferent. All those BIG snow in NYC forecast are looking prettty awful right now. Me: I thnk the GFS is plain wrong; my call right now would be an 80\20 compromise between the NAM and EURO, in favor of the EURO.....like the EC ens mean. snowstorm for e MA, but immediate shore has issues. BIG totals in ORH hills, Berks and Monadnocks. Via Jerry's FB pg....
