ORH_wxman
Well i guess I'd have to enjoy the snow thump for the first 4-5 hours if this verified. Before it gets crippled with rain.
Logan11
Front Royal, VA maybe for Thursday night..... I'll wait till after theb12z runs to decide. I get tainted. Ouch.
ORH_wxman
Is anyone still more concerned about about whiff versus a low going up Kevin's fanny?
dryslot
Nice swift kick in the nuts by the GFS, Hope its the western outlier, Will be interesting to see where the ensembles go.
simpsonsbuff
Well that's an interesting solution for KLEB... i'd love how the surface is at 933 mb's...
Logan11
Lets hope this doesn't give LEKing his long overdue synoptic dump of snow. bboughton
Seems to me to be what Noyes was saying. Not a strong enough High to keep the low to our South. dendrite
Likewise...I get choded. Actually I'm close. It goes to hell around 63hr here, but cools back down as the TROWAL scoots NE. It would probably be a hell of a hit before any mixing.

Logan11
This is shockingly far west with the 7H low etc... Truthfully the best stuff is probably even west of ALB. JB must be rejoicing in UNV. I find the GFS qpf a little weird really ..think the best deformation should be more like central PA to the Dacks...with that track.... Actually I'm close. It goes to hell around 63hr here, but cools back down as the TROWAL scoots NE. It would probably be a hell of a hit before any mixing.

I don't think this verifys and it will end up further east in time, I would have preferred to skip over the GFS and get to the Euro, Its garbage

nzucker
Someone would get a round of 3in/hr rates before a changeover VT gets clobbered on the 0z GFS. I am off from work this weekend, going to take the trip to chase since I am not going to Chicago as planned (panel of teaching tests was too poorly timed/expensive). hooralph
DST sucks. This is going to kill me, I just hope the 00z runs don't smash the low into BDR. You mean like this?
ORH_wxman
I think we would get our azzes kicked even in the gfs verified. GFS actually has a snow sounding here through 54h and would dump like 0.70" of qpf before a flip. I'd take a Ukie type solution and run if I could right now...even though I probably taint eventually on it, it absolutely blasts here with heavy snow (>1" qpf) before that happens. weatherwiz
Probably some convection as well with this system if the GFS verified...a decent burst of instability comes over the region...TT's over 50, KI near 30, SI gets near 0.
HIPPYVALLEY
Someone would get a round of 3in/hr rates before a changeover Berks and W. Ma up through the Monads. Crushing snow with rain on top. Not ideal.

wxmanmitch
00Z GFS soundings appear to keep it snow (albeit barely) here at 54 and 60 hours. Verbatim, this run is a crushing hit for western zones including PSF, AQW, ALB, GFL, etc. Still 48+ hours to go.
