Arnold214
i'd lock that in right now even tho the jackpot is offshore. I still think jackpot is gonna be litchfield county to the white mountains.
A-L-E-X
You probably only need like 6" in PHL or NYC with bigger amounts further north to eclipse it, however. 4/1/97 had a relatively small zone of impact since it bombed out so late. It was also a warmer set-up... 4/1/97 with even slightly colder temps would be awesome for us who were on the fringe with that event.

HIPPYVALLEY
Just from a fun folklore perspective: one of my neighbors who's family has been here for generations said to me a week ago that winter is not done because the bears have been very inactive thus far. I can't help but somewhat trust the intuition of local mama bears deciding when the weather is safe enough to start introducing the little ones to the outside world. Yeah UHI kills urban areas this time of year-- in 96 and 03 I had several times as much snow as the city even though Im right near the ocean (well within 3 miles lol.) HIPPYVALLEY
Nam drops about 17" here, I would like to lock it as well.. I just need a little over 17" to hit 100" imby. Highly unlikely from this storm but I would still take a wound up BM solution with wind whipped powder in W. Ma. rather than a pine plastering 30F cement mixer.
