aslkahuna
Forecast lows for Tucson and Douglas tonight are 24F and 13F respectively which would either tie or be new records for the date. For Eastern Santa Cruz and all of Cochise County, lows in the valleys are expected to be in the teens except near or in the larger washes where single digit lows are likely. Lows along the San Pedro River could reach as low as 0F or even slightly below Zero. A warmup is expected by Wednesday. Needless to say sub zero readings are likely for the mountains. HurricaneJosh
It's been really cold in L.A. this last week-- not as cold as AZ, of course, but really unpleasantly cold for us.
HurricaneJosh
In the 30s tonight in L.A. metro. Really cold for these parts-- especially given that it's not even winter yet.

aslkahuna
The following all time record lows for November were set: Bisbee-Douglas airport (11F), Benson 10F, Safford (14F). Tucson had a low of 23F which is the third coldest for any date since 2000 (record low for Tucson is +6F set in January 1913). We had a low of 25.5F at the house while a mesonet site in Elfrida north of Douglas had +7F. Unfortunately no reports from near the San Pedro or the cold area on FHU are available as there undoubtedly lows close to 0F. BTW the report from PHX comes from Sky Harbor airport which tends to run warm at night. I'm sure places like Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale, etc were below 32F.
