weathafella
I think the issue for some initially with the Euro is that it's tucked in toward the coast so the boundary layer is going to be an issue until the thing bombs out and then we get big time dynamic cooling. Precisely what happened 4/1/97. Despite being on the cp, I like these runs. Verbatim I'd be shoveling (or waiting till it melts in a few days). Verbatim I'd be shoveling (or waiting till it melts in a few days). Yup. This won't be as long as 4/1/97 because it is moving... so your jackpot areas will be in elevated areas west of 91 where things can start and stay as snow. But still definitely a good run. Don't want it anymore west though.

mattb65
so it sounds like a westward trend in general from yesterday to today for the OP runs. If the Euro ensembles come west, all counties ending in 'sex' should pack it in Not that it matters at this lead time but that's completely not true. NAM is way OTS, GFS went east, Euro slightly west, UK somewhat west, GGEM somewhat west (but to a perfect track for most of SNE). GFS Ensembles way east. I'd say everyone is definitely still in the game even the CP.
