Tulip Trouncer Threat II - End of March/ Early April

Logan airport had 0.9" in the Easter night storm and then 6.4" in the April 9-10 storm. But just off the water the easter storm was probably several inches more.

That's what I get for using official NWS storm summaries, fooking Govt, what a disastah

However, Boston's Logan International Airport had 6 inches, pushing the seasonal total to 107.6 inches, beating the old record of 101.6 inches set just a few days earlier

The storm summaries are nice for getting the general idea of the storm and where the heaviest fell, but their amounts are riddled with errors I've noticed.

I had about 4-5" in the Easter storm in Brockton. The 4/10 storm was much more dynamic for cstl areas, but I had nowhere near what areas just 20-30 miles to my west had, in nrn RI.

Thanks for the heads up, will check from now on, not surprised about anything any more, you would think it was important to be accurate in an agency that has people who have to take the toughest math courses in the world, one word laziness.

Thanks, as I remembered, dry, cold and warm interspersed. I distinctly remember pissing and moaning as bad as Ray ever had because I was within reach of 100 in early March and thought it was a lock.

We whiffed on a storm on Mar 29, 1996 too...I remember we were supposed to get 3-6" about 24-36 hours before the event but then it turned to garbage and got suppressed south of us. Places like Newburgh NY got 4" and highlands of NNJ.

I was bummed after that one as I thought that was it for that winter. But then we got the last laugh in those double barrel April events.

Basically, it's the bigger fear that we've all been harping on. The chance for it to be really amped up..although the interior gets some snow.

That's a huge front end thump for the interior, lol. It actually is a pretty cold run considering where the MLs track....but that is not where I wanted to see them this run.

Yeah it's a 6hr thump, but it's never good to have a low over Philly..lol. It's a high tension wire, electrical bath for me.
