HoarfrostHubb
Cobbs corner area but I actually spent the night of the storm a few miles south in the woods of borderland. Came across a guy that looked like gimly from the lord of the rings turned out to be ski mrg. I used to love the Brighams that was in that plaza many moons ago... and the Colemans sporting goods... HoarfrostHubb
I love how you doubt me yet there is overwhelming evidence from multiple sources that this specific area wrings out the snow. Geez. Jealousy I guess. Common sense ftw

OKpowdah
It screwed the coast. This is a different time of year, and those analogs look at 500mb, but I personally hated that storm. That year screwed me until 2/7/03...the famous snow event that had the megaband of 3-4" per hour snows. I loved that event.

Think we are on the sidelines for a typical elevation true blue bomb but that's OK I forgot the elephant! Too cold lately to remember. Clarify my dissing cold. If we get snow fine, if not, worthless approaching April. Of course once you get to 55+ your skin takes a beating in cold dry wx so I could use some moisture be it snow, rain, or warmer conds. Just getting out of the wind today made all the difference in the world, Oct like when you feel the first bite of approaching winter only now it's the first bites of spring. Ginx snewx
Hunchback, yea I discounted that because the third week in March is early. I am thinking 97 right now for the last on the CP besides Scooters 2-4 event. So rare that even to have a chance is really notable.

That means adiabatic death to skin moisture.

If I remember right that was an awesome season for NNE. I can usually tell by going through my catologue of ski pics for a specific season.lol Most storms were suppressed by the cold air. Coldest winter so far IMBY, but mediocre for snow, 67.8" (20" below my avg) and 10th of 13 winters despite a nice 14" dump in the early January storm. Snowcover lasted a long time, though, due to the cold. Had 12 mornings at 20 below or colder mid-Jan thru early March - bottom was minus 29. Killed my peach tree (Reliance is good to Zone 5, I'm decidedly Zone 4), planted shortly after we moved here in May 1998, which had blossomed and fruited for its one and only time in 2002.
