Well it depends on the station. As others have said, Lee Goldberg on channel 7 and Nick Gregory on channel 5 are excellent mets. You get better forecasts from them than you get from Upton NWS. But Lonnie Quinn on channel 2 is horrendous, as is Mr. G. on channel 11. I wouldn't be for all stations dumping on cam mets, because we'd miss some excellent mets like Lee Goldberg. I don't wishcast and I'm not going ignore overwhelming model trends. By the way, the DGEX should be thrown in the garbage. It spits out HECS like they are having a sale on them at the weennie store. The Euro and GFS on Tuesday afternoon were beautiful. I was so excited when both of them showed a lot of snow. DGEX is a horrible model and should be thrown in the ocean. Even if it was 32 instead of 38 we'd be looking at a slushy inch of snow learn not to model hug especially for this time of year. What I did say was that I didn't agree with there snowfall map, and they should have never issued the watches/warnings for specific amounts. How many times do we see vauge accumulations forecasted such as 6"+ at the watch stage during far less marginal situations? Almost every time.
