CoastalWx
It ticked east a little, but it also is a little colder. Take a little, give a little. Still gets you guys hard with the CCB.
ag3
To me, it looks better then 6z for NYC metro. Colder run and plenty of juice.
LocoAko
Preliminary look at 6-hourly soundings for New Brunswick, NJ show what looks to be all snow. Here is 72 hours:
IsentropicLift
Beautiful hit, lot's of QPF over our region and temps look colder than 6z. Almost a perfect track. It closes off a tad later than previous runs...and appears to be a tad more progressive until it reaches NE.

ag3
Surface starts warm but cools down rapidly as the ccb cranks over us. At worst this is a rain to a heavy snow bomb for everyone.

tmagan
12Z UKMET is closer to the coast with rain for the coastal plain, that is usually a red flag.
IsentropicLift
12Z UKMET is closer to the coast with rain for the coastal plain, that is usually a red flag. In which way? It was showing a low with pressure so deep it could have been mistaken for a Hurricane a few days ago.

Within 72 hours it tends to be a progressive model, remember the Boxing Day storm.

tornadojay
How do the QPF numbers look Jay? Edit: Thanks for the maps above guys QPF looks very good. Storm Vista snowfall output is very impressive again.. .like it was 6Z.. it is producing widespread 6 inch totals, even near NYC.. it even has a couple of 12-18 inch maximums, interestingly near Trenton and then in extreme northern NJ and southeastern NY.. but I am not going to go nuts that we will get those kind of snowfall totals... well, at least not yet.. This time of year, I probably almost have to see it actually happen to believe it. but hey.. it's possible.. it has happened before.. not too often, but it's not like it's mid April yet
