can we fooking end this winter.

Granted, it has been a long year. So many chances, so many times on the short end of the stick. It will really, really, really, be hard to trust a modeled "snow" solution next year. But just like a true gambling addict, I'm sure many of us will be right there to double down or push all in.

not until JB finds a rogue 1002 slp meandering in the northern Caribbean he will claim will end up being a high end Cat 2/Low end 3 threatening HAT to ACK with waves the likes of which haven't been seen for 3 weeks in Japan which will officially mark the start of hurricane season

its a long ways to tropical season, I am sure JB will start hyping some marginally cold outbreak coming later in the month and how it might snow in the higher elevations of the northeast...(even though that is not unusual for April)

I didnt think precip was going to start till this evening anyway. I wasnt expecting any precip today

THis is what the radar should have looked like an hour ago according to the NMM. Its not happening... models are grossly overdone on the precip from the first wave today. No reason to believe that will change tonight.

I'm actually excited about all three storms, and the backside of another possible bomb sometime next week. Although part of me is wishing for spring to come so I can get to my beloved yard work. Have any of you cut your grass yet?

I cut mine this past Sunday during the last snowstorm we had. The onions and peas are coming up too.

Henry M's latest post..."The Euro really buries from near Baltimore to the Hudson Valley" Is it him or me smoking something?

[/quote

He says"" Heavy snow and thundersnow will develop across northern Virginia and western Maryland and head northeastward across eastern Pennsylvania into New York." Isn''t that what the euro is showing??Whether it happens is another story.

JB and Henry M. bust hugely (many even bigger than this one coming) nearly every single week. Somehow they continue to be employed. If I was incredibly wrong 75% of the time I would be fired and blacklisted in my industry.

It's not about whether you're right or wrong so long as you get the revenue. I'm sad to say it but the evidence is piling that they're trying to get hits more so than trying to make a realistic forecast.

EDIT: I'll get my map out early afternoon tomorrow... had jury duty all day today.

is that what the euro is showing? not really. the comma head becomes pronounced as you get toward ne md and northeast but looking at the maps it looks like only a very little at the end would be snow -- probably non accumulating -- and overall the euro isnt that intense down this way. maybe phl north.. maybe.
