Models showing some really warm air aloft on Sunday with good mixing. Still a bit uncertain just how deep we will mix with current indications somewhere near 850 mb. My first guess for LAF is 86. If we can mix just a bit more, then upper 80's wouldn't be out of the question.

I also predict that we won't drop below 75 overnight Sunday until the storms hit.

90º

Was looking at some old data, and heres an interesting obs from 4-16-43. Glancing at the monthly data, I noticed 2.0" of snow fell that day but the high was 61 so I decided to check the observations. Looks like a blinding thunderstorm of snow blew threw in the morning, and the temp then soared to 61F by 2pm!!

sounds like I upset a few people lol wrong thread but storm motions scare me on sunday. I bust and I'm going to be quite pissed I didn't stay home and golf/fish lol

Chasing has to be the call here. There will be plenty of 90 degree days in the summer to golf/fish

That's a stretch :lightning:

Ya never know. I've seen several times where forecast highs bust atleast 6-10 degrees too low. If the front comes a bit more north and its somewhat sunny who knows. Does look like the cold front comes through at night so severe weather looks minimal here

I highly doubt anything like this will happen, but if someone in the Midwest were to get this tornado outbreak over the weekend, then get a 12 inch snowstorm the next weekend, it might be the wackiest weather week in the Midwest. I assume it has happened before, but it must be pretty rare to get a tornado outbreak followed by a winter storm/blizzard less than a week later.
