BowMeHunter
I guess the good thing is we're still getting some decent storms today/tonight despite non-conducive parameters for severe weather. I'll take hail over nado's and swamp azz any day.
Hoosier
Typical. Nonetheless, too hot for April 3rd. Yeah, this was about at my tolerable limit for the middle of summer let alone early April. We beat the airport record high by 5 degrees. The WL Coop record was 80.

Today was a good setup for overperforming but I didn't think we'd surprass 80.
River Card
STL hit 90 degrees today and have a freeze warning for tomorrow night. This craziness runs into early summer....Felt good today though, near 80, rocking Robert Plant with the windows down...looks like a nasty cool down possible during week 2 of April, say 11th-15th time frame...possibly. Going back over records on Wunderground and it looks like there's a slight discrepancy. It's showing a high of 77 in 2003. I knew 1974 was warm...our high for that year is listed as 75 but there was an hourly ob of 75.

I'd wish you luck on your quest for 50" but I realize that ship's probably already sailed.

Yep, we're done here. 50 wasn't meant to be I guess. Good season though...

Chicago WX
Wind is howling. These gusts have to be at least as strong as the ones during the day. Yeah I think so. There was a bit of a lull earlier this evening, but they've certainly picked back up.
Indystorm
Have been north of the warm front all day. High this evening was 62 with se wind. Now dropped back to 59 with east wind. Would love to have some real spring warmth sooner or later up here in Michiana.

Hoosier
Looks like a potentially interesting system about a week from now, although with today's model performance regarding low level moisture, probably best to not get excited yet.

cyclone77
Was 68 a little over an hour ago, but it's down to 52 now with a howling northwest wind. Hit 82 here at the house today. It hit 88 where we were near Washington Iowa late this afternoon right as storms blew up. Very interesting start to April.

roardog
We ended up getting about 2 inches of snow yesterday along with thunder. The snow was very intense during the the thunder and lightning. I thought I would wake up this morning and the snow would be all melted but the ground still is still covered but probably not for much longer. The temp finally moved up into the low 40s after staying in the mid 30s most of the night. We also had quite a bit of lightning overnight. It's 70F in the southern part of the state while it's 41F here. I wonder if the warm air will make it here briefly. Probably not.
