Precip all the way into Southeast New York and moderate precip to Philly. I'd Love just a couple inches from this storm, maybe just 1-3 just to get in the winter mood. Kaner587
Still that way at 162...the block is stalling the low off the coast That was always a possibility if any storm did develop due to its intensity (the block). Maybe we were all focusing on the wrong time period lol (dec 8-11th)?
earthlight
Probably an all out blizzard in Boston at 174 hrs and north into Maine

Manny
WOW. I mean, a little more to the west, and this clipper of 1-3" turns into an all out MECS for Philly and NYC. Two nice threats on the horizon.
earthlight
Miles from being a MECS or more in PHL-NYC...a slam dunk MECS this run in DCA...Eastern Long Island..and New England.
earthlight
Are we high and dry this whole time? Northwest NJ is the real screw zone...we probably get 0.20-0.30" out of it..but the heavy stuff misses to the south and then northeast. Long Island gets absolutely hammered especially the east end. Manny
Snow-hole. DC cashes in and so does Boston. lol NYC will get there though.
hudsonvalley21
Still that way at 162...the block is stalling the low off the coast That is what we want too see ,is when the low is effected.
LVblizzard
The 500mb map is insane...a huge ULL sits and spins over the NE while that surface low is still bringing snow to New England.
