SpartyOn
Impressive cold snap delaying spring warmth. The duration seems like an eternity.
goknights
Duration will be rather extended but when it does break it probably won't show up on models right away. Its seems models especially in the spring struggle with big pattern changes.
backdoorfront
I wish spring wouldn't have teased us with numerous days in the 80's.
BowMeHunter
Pretty impressive below normal shot. Would be 4 days in a row below frz for a high if the MKE zone forecast verifies.. Only 6 days here since Feb 12th (avg hi is up to 32 then) with temps below freezing for a high. No wonder there is no walkable ice left in southern WI.. Between 20 and 30" left on the lakes we were on up north when we left yesterday.
IWXwx
Yeah, it funny that we've haven't heard from Cro...er....Tropical lately.
michsnowfreak
March will likely be the 4th consecutive month that DTW has a temp departure of -2.5F or colder. In all the recent snowy winters weve seen this decade, the snowy winter of 2010-11 will be the first to feature such persistent below normal temps. Impressive indeed...lets do this all over again in 2011-12!!!
