JSTWX
Somebody please help me with this... Does this mean that no one in PA outside of the coastal plain, Lehigh Valley, and the Poconos get's anything? Really? According to him, yes. At least with Friday's storm. I think that some light accumulations are likely all the way back to me and 2001kx, but the jackpot will be SNE.

Santa Clause
It is interesting, If this we're january, I'd be having a fit, and ready to rack up another big hit for NYC/SNE. This time, I feel okay either way. If it goes east, I don't have to wait for LHU's ballpark to dry out again, and I get to go racing Saturday night! If it hits, hey we're weather nerds and snow is always welcome!
MAG5035
Since there's about 3 days of free JB left before his new company has him available only to subscribers.. might as well put on a link to his snowmap and disco. It's the first time i've ever seen him draw one since his Accuwx blog never allowed him to draw stuff or put on pics. Got pretty good part of PA in a general 3-6, with a 6+ nw of the big cities once to NEPA/NY and New England.. looks relatively reasonable..especially if hes including the first wave. http://www.weatherbell.com/jb/?category_name=blog_home_page

MAG5035
Watch the video....he said to double those. He thinks he is too low. Yea he mentions this in the disco too, also to maybe shift the heaviest southeast some. It seems like models have come back around to giving us snow from the first system, with an overall more robust looking storm..which could signal more emphasis on the first wave and thus a further northeast developing storm #2. I wanna see what event #1 delivers tomorrow and see another cycle or so of model runs before writing off both the option that focuses over our heads as well as the non to minor snow event for everyone in the ne option. MAG5035
Welp, NAM gives half decent QPF for the most of the central folks from above I-80 a bit and on south.. but says what big second storm? The new GFS def has the second coastal and it gets down to about NE PA pretty good with a big hit further northeast but the consolation is it sends a 6 hour (.25-.5) slug thru the southern half of CPA with #1. 21z SREF snow probs nearly as high as 15z's for the first wave and meh until further northeast with #2. Santa Clause
LOL...tree crusher snowstorm...happy April! Ya...I guess the low goes from Norfolk VA to NYC. With that low track, is the GFS being a little stingy with precip?

whiteout
Boom. I see your in Greencastle, I'm about 15 miles north of you in Shippensburg. That is a damn pretty track for us in January but how much of the precip stays snow for us on April 1st in your opinion?
MAG5035
Hmm the GFS penetrated into geographic central PA a lil bit better than I thought it had at the quick glance when it was just coming out. It is a pretty good track for us, and the fact that it takes a steep trajectory as it eventually cuts inland in southern New England (vs glancing off to the benchmark) aids longer lasting precip in at least eastern and especially northeastern PA. The UKMET from what I have seen looks to be a bit southeast and not as deep as it had been. Euro should be interesting.. so far tonight looks to be a continuation of a relative tossup on what folks might see the significant snowfall. Itstrainingtime
According to the 12Z GFS, this... That's a lot of water. Well, unless a true miracle occurs, snow just isn't in the cards for my area until next winter. I just wish it could be dry and warm. 8pm baseball practice is no fun when it's in the upper 30's and breezy.
MAG5035
Very light precip falling with this first batch. Practically need to get a microscope out but def some light flurries falling.
