I was tracking the juniata/snyder county storm while breaking down our live shot in wilkes-barre last night on my cell phone's radarscope (you need this app). It had the best couplet i've seen in central PA so far this spring. Then Scott Schaeffer had the picture of the funnel to the ground on the news last night during the 11pm and verified what Radarscope showed hitting that area around 5:15pm..

Tornado was reported in Ritchfield, Juniata County.

Source?

Tornado flattened some farm buildings up around the Dauphin/Schuylkil line toward Pottsville. Trees along the top of thr mountain are down, PennDOT plows cleaning up debris.

Reported house collapse closer toward the town, but not yet confirmed.

Source?

All of PA in 4/10 in the Tor:Con if that means anything?

Its fairly meh, it could either way tomorrow, I feel cloud cover could hamper the intensity of the severe wx tomorrow, although the dynamics of the storm may keep things pretty interesting. There is a line of storms just to my west that might produce some t-storm warnings tonight.

While it is indeed hot and humid today across the mid states, I am not excited about the severe weather potential south of I-76. Based off the upper air pattern it looks like the best dynamics would head up towards far upstate PA and NY, hence the enhanced tornado and wind/hail outlines by SPC. I do hope I'm wrong, as I'd like to see a good storm before we head into the summer pattern.

EDIT: Mesoscale discussion, which falls in line with my thinking. Best storms in that area today: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0979.html

Just walked for about 15 minutes here in Harrisburg and came to the following conclusion:

It's warm.

Word. And the sun is still baking out there as of 4:30. There's a cell trying to get its act together just north of HBG, but no immediate threats upstream yet. That glob in western MD / northeast WV looks nasty, though.
