I have yet to see a storm report out of there. If you see anything worthwhile, don't forget to call 1-877-633-6772 (CTP public line).

We had a pretty decent storm come through about 330am, but this rain right now is unreal. The Fire Dept scanner is going nuts...now they are just dispatching for a basement collapse

Hearing talk about a Poss. tornado in Lebanon or Dauphin County around East Hanover Township. Hearing on scanner several building collapse's, last one i heard dispatched said people trapped. I heard FD say they were not at the building yet, they had to cut their way to the scene!

What is it about that area? My daughter had a softball game last night outside of Hershey and I was joking with my wife before we left that we were headed right into Tornado alley. I think Campelltown has been hit twice now in the past 10 years or so, correct? It just seems that there are so many severe storms that hit that same general area, year after year.

You are correct about Campbelltown. We played at Milton Hershey yesterday as we wre leaving, it looked nasty

Just spoke with co-worker who lives down that way, she said their is a lot of damage. Schools in Palmyra are closed. Many buildings damaged or collapsed.

What does the rest of the day have in store for us? For some reason, i can't veiw any radars..

That is very sad to hear. My thoughts go out to all those who have been affected in such a negative way.

Roofs off homes in the city, lines down and trees down on Second and Front. Shipoke's like a bomb went off.

Straight-line winds around 4:30 had to be pushing 60 and rain was at one point blowing sideways and up.

That's probably the best storm I've seen since moving here in 2006. Made me think of my East Texas days!

Geez, you've been throught a lot. First, the whole water deal, now these storms...what's next?

Maybe the O's taking the series from the Sox? Nah...:) (I saw your comments in the Sox thread about beating up on our bad pitching)

Sorry, just having fun. As an O's fan, we don't get to do this very often!

The only way we could get out of midtown was to actually go across Harvey Taylor and cut through Camp Hill to 83. Macklay was shut, Herr and Cameron were shut, 2nd at the ramps where shut. I guess we could've gone up to 81 and swung back through but I'd rather stick my head in a woodchipper than do that.

I've heard Palmyra got lit up as well. Seems there's a line from say Palmyra down through E Hanover over to Linglestown to HBG to Camp Hill that all got rocked good.

Ouch! I got heckled Tuesday and last night by O''s degenerate fans. Ugh.

Tonight's the Neil Young concert ... that'll put me in a better mood.

Just incredible rainfall rates down here right now. Storms just keep firing and training over this area repeatedly. More to come out of Maryland, too. New tornado warned storm down there, line looks like it's increasing in intensity. Flooding is going to be ugly, I'm afraid.

Is that new cell headed towards the harrisburg region? Or more towards you?

i lost count of how many building collapses i heard over the scanner between, Cumberland, Dauphin and Lebanon Counties.

I thought the flag pole and light standards at the firehouse was going to rip out of the ground earlier am.

Along the river in southern Lancaster county. I just came up from the basement after a tornado warning went off again.

And yes, we have been getting raked. Words can't describe the sky this morning, but it has that look that makes one feel uneasy.

There has been very few times where i was a little jittery of the weaher, at about 330-4 am was one of those moments. When i went o my daughters room early to make sure her windows were shut, she woke and said whats a matter, i said nothing why, she said, bull crap, i can see it on your face. lol

I've been directly under 2 tornado warnings and at least one severe storm warning in the past hour. Can't ever recall 2 separate tornado warnings for the exact same area in that short of time. Amazing situation down here right now.

There's probably a lot on here that would salivate for a situation like this, not me. You can all have it. Potential cost is way too high for me to wish for this to occur.
